Conference Center Parking Facility: This parking facility operates from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. If you're taking a tour of Temple Square, validated parking is provided at the Conference Center. This means you can park there for free while on your Temple Square tour. Without validation, the regular parking at Temple Square rate at the Conference Center is $10.

Temple Square Hours

The hours of operation for Temple Square in Salt Lake City vary seasonally. Here are the Temple Square hours for 2023:


  • From the second week of January to the First Sunday in April 2023: Temple Square is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  • From April to the First Sunday in October 2023: During this period, Temple Square opens earlier and closes later, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

  • From the First Sunday in October through Thanksgiving: The hours return to 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
