For the opportunity to drive to the summit of Mount Evans, a timed ticketing system is in place, and here are the ticket prices:


  • Personal Vehicle: $10.00

  • 2 Person Motorcycle (ages 16+): $6.00 per person

  • 1 Person Motorcycle (ages 16+): $3.00 per person


Additionally, there is a reservation fee of $2.00 per ticket, which is nonrefundable. This system allows visitors to plan their visit to this stunning natural attraction and enjoy the scenic beauty of Mount Evans.

Directions

To reach Mount Evans Scenic Byway:


From I-70:

Take exit 240 in Idaho Springs.

Follow Highway 103 south until reaching Echo Lake.

From Echo Lake, proceed on Highway 5 to ascend to the summit of Mount Blue Sky.


From Bergen Park:

Head west on Highway 103.

Travel to Echo Lake.

From Echo Lake, take Highway 5 to reach the breathtaking summit of Mount Blue Sky.
