Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

South Garden (English Style): The South Garden is inspired by English-style gardens. It boasts lush lawns bordered by vibrant perennial and annual flower beds. It's a more relaxed and picturesque area within the Conservatory Garden.


Additionally, the Vanderbilt Gate serves as the grand entrance to the Conservatory Garden. It's an ornate wrought-iron gate that adds a touch of historical charm to this already picturesque garden.

Getting there

Getting to Central Park is convenient, and you have several transportation options:


Subways:

If you're on the north side, you can take the B, C, 2, or 3 trains to get close to the park.

Along the west side, you can access Central Park using the 1, 2, 3, B, or C trains.

If you're on the east side, the 4, 5, and 6 trains are convenient options.

On the south side, you can use the A, B, C, D, 1, N, R, or Q trains to reach the park.


Taxis and Ridesharing:

Taxis and ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are widely available in New York City. You can simply input "Central Park" as your destination, and the driver will take you to one of the park's entrances.


Walking:

Depending on your location in the city, walking to Central Park can be a pleasant option, especially if you're in the nearby neighborhoods. Central Park has multiple entrances, so you can plan your route accordingly.
